PM Borisov Assures Bulgariaa[euro][TM]s Borders Are Closed to Illegal Immigrants.

Bulgariaâs Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has assured that the authorities have taken all possible measures to close the border to illegal immigrants.

Speaking Saturday ahead of the inauguration of a wastewater treatment plant in Sozopol, Borisov said that the gendarmerie and the police were keeping refugees 40 kilometers away from the Bulgarian border.

Borisov, as cited by Darik radio, noted that border patrols prevented them from entering the country.

He made clear that only cars and trucks were currently allowed to cross the border.

Commenting on the situation in Turkey, Bulgariaâs Prime Minister said that refugees were to meet with the countryâs Prime Minister.

Borisov expressed his hopes that the Turkish authorities would manage to bring the situation under control.
